HR Ethics in the Gray Zone: Real World Scenarios for Today's Workforce

February 23, 2026
12:30 PM - 2:00 PM

Virtual Event

In today’s complex workplace, HR professionals regularly navigate situations where the “right answer” isn’t always clear. HR Ethics in the Gray Zone explores the nuanced, real-world dilemmas where legal compliance, organizational values, and human impact intersect. Through engaging scenarios, facilitated discussion, and practical frameworks, participants will learn how to recognize ethical risk, balance competing obligations, and make principled decisions even when facing ambiguity, pressure, or incomplete information.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  •     Identify ethical gray-zone scenarios in HR practice and analyze the factors that contribute to ambiguity or potential risk.
  •     Apply structured ethical decision-making frameworks to evaluate options, navigate competing priorities, and determine defensible next steps.
  •     Strengthen confidence in real-time judgment calls by practicing communication strategies that promote transparency, fairness, and organizational integrity.
